New DXi T-10-240 and T-10-480 Models Offer Blazing-Fast Data Recovery, Flexible Scaling, and Space Efficiency in a Compact, Cyber-Resilient Form.

San Jose, California, July 15, 2025 – Quantum Corporation (Nasdaq: QMCO) announced the launch of two new appliances from its DXi® T-Series: the DXi T-10-240 and DXi T-10-480 models, which are the world’s first 1U backup appliances based entirely on NVMe flash memory, offering up to 480 TB of raw capacity. With inline deduplication and high performance, these systems allow for the protection of more data with less space, power, and administrative resources.

Breakthrough Performance in a Compact Enclosure

The new models are designed for environments requiring rapid data recovery, where traditional data center infrastructure is not an optimal solution. By utilizing NVMe memory and Quantum’s data reduction technology, the devices provide up to a 70:1 deduplication ratio, making them an ideal solution for ransomware protection, DevOps environments with frequent backups, and remote offices with limited space and power.

Recovery Speed = Cyber Resilience

As Brian Corcoran of Storage IT Solutions noted:

„Recovery speed determines whether a company can recover from an attack or suffer prolonged paralysis. In demo tests, the DXi T-Series proved to handle this excellently.”

These solutions enable almost immediate access to backups, which translates into faster restoration of organizational operations in emergency situations.

Seamless Scaling and No Hidden Costs

The DXi T-10-240 and T-10-480 offer a flexible “pay-as-you-grow” licensing model, allowing users to activate the necessary capacity at startup and expand it in increments of 15 or 30 TB. There’s no need to replace devices or interrupt operations – companies gain scalability without unexpected expenses.

Full Integration with the Quantum Ecosystem

The new devices can serve as fast storage for daily backups and virtual machine recovery, with the option of replication or tiering to hybrid DXi 9200 systems, as well as to the ActiveScale® object storage system or Scalar® tape libraries. The entire setup can be managed within a single Quantum environment, simplifying operations and enhancing security.

Awards and Industry Recognition

The DXi T-Series has already won prestigious awards, including the 2025 GOVIES Government Security Award and the Gold Globee Technology Award in the data protection category. This confirms that Quantum’s solutions are not only innovative but also highly regarded for their effectiveness and reliability.

The Future of Flash Backup: Performance, Resilience, Savings

„In emergency situations, every minute counts. That’s why customers choose our DXi flash appliances,”

said Sanam Mittal, General Manager of DXi at Quantum.

„The new models combine four times the capacity in the same 1U enclosure with licensing flexibility, providing a breakthrough backup solution.”
