IT Backup Engineer

Job description

• Maintenance, administration, and configuration of the company’s internal IT systems.
• Preparation of training and experimental IT environments.
• Conducting training sessions.
• Conducting workshops and client tests.
• Leading projects/implementations.
• Acquiring certified knowledge in the systems offered by the Company (including Commvault, Networker, Avamar, DataDomain, Quantum).
• Ongoing execution of implementation contracts provided by the company.
• Ongoing execution of service contracts provided by the company.
• Support for sales departments in selecting backup solutions.

Requirements

• Higher technical education: electronics, computer science, or related fields (graduates welcome).
• Knowledge of one or more of the following backup systems: Netbackup, BackupExec, Veeam, TSM, DataProtector, Networker, Avamar, DataDomain, Commvault.
• Knowledge of RedHat, CentOS, and/or Windows Server will be an additional asset.
• Knowledge of Oracle RMAN will be an additional asset.
• Theoretical knowledge or experience in a similar position in the IT industry.
• Eagerness to acquire knowledge and experience in innovative IT solutions.
• Good command of English.
• Category B driving license.
• Communication skills, ease in establishing contacts.
• Enthusiasm and positive attitude towards work.
• High personal culture.
• Responsibility, ability to organize work time.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Analytical thinking skills.
